Training is essential to us. That is why Electron, located in Nijkerk, is active in recruiting young technical talent. We are closely involved in training programs at different levels in collaboration with various schools in the region. The main purpose of this is to recruit young professional talents and to train them internally to become fully-fledged professionals. We organize and support events to interest young people in technology.
As an organization, we are a certified training company for mechatronics as well as machine construction and metalworking. At Electron we stand for high-quality products. That is why we not only train young talent to become fully-fledged professionals, but we also increase the craftsmanship of our own employees.
Do you want to work on technology? Every year we make a number of internship and work experience places (BBL) available. In addition to your work, you will follow both theoretical and practical vocational training. The combination of working and learning at the same time is extremely varied. So no day is the same. Everything you learn can be immediately applied in practice. From Electron, you will be well guided by our recognized practical trainers.
We offer the following apprenticeships, among others:
- Sheet metal worker (lever 2 or higher);
- Alround sheel metal worker (leverl 3 or higher);
- Construction worker (level 2 or higher);
- First mechatronics mechanic (level 3 or higher).

Electron is located in Nijkerk and is a successful and growing family business in the Dutch manufacturing industry. Our own production, engineering and development department has expert knowledge in metal- and heat technology, industrial furnace construction and process engineering. You will be working at Electron Technologies, which is part of the Electron Group. Electron designs, manufactures and supplies industrial furnaces and process equipment, process technology and services to aircraft engine and gas turbine OEMs and MROs with customers worldwide.
